Easy Ways to Donate
City Market Cares
City Market operates this electronic fundraising program to help local nonprofit organizations raise funds at no cost to the customer. Once you register your City Market Value Card in the program, indicating GVAWL as your recipient, GVAWL will receive a portion of what you spend at City Market every quarter.
Just send us an email indicating your interest in the program, and we will send you the sign-up card. It is that easy!
Donate your good quality, lightly-used clothing, furniture, household items, rugs, and books to Boom-A-Rang, naming the Animal Welfare League as your proceeds recipient. For furniture and other large items, get prior approval by calling 970.641.3115, or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Items can be dropped off seven days a week: Monday-Friday 10-6, Saturday 10-5, and Sunday 11-5. Boom-A-Rang is located at 221 North Main Street, Gunnison.
The mission of GoodSearch and GoodShop is to empower people to change the world with simple, everyday actions – such as using the internet – that raise money for causes they care most about.
When you use GoodSearch and GoodShop to search or to purchase items on the internet, an average of 3% of your purchase will go to your chosen nonprofit. It is easy to use, and GVAWL received their first annual check from GoodSearch last year. Sign up now at goodsearch.com to ensure that your used electronics proceeds are designated for the Animal Welfare League.
