Gunnison Valley Animal Welfare League
Serving Homeless Animals Throughout Gunnison County

Volunteer - Volunteer Opportunities / Volunteer Inquiry Form

The Gunnison Valley Animal Welfare League is run entirely by volunteers devoted to the cause of promoting animal welfare. Your assistance is needed in all levels of the organization.

You might be called upon to help decorate for the Fur Ball, to help with mailings, to help staff an event booth, or to place food and water for a feral-cat colony - you choose.

You can devote as much or as little time as you like. Tell us the amount of time you have available - each time you are called upon, you choose the number of hours you can contribute.

You also can volunteer for a longer-term commitment in one of our programs, such as Animal Care, Community Outreach, or the Shelter Committee.

Please examine the areas of opportunity below, with examples of some of the ways in which to serve. Then, fill out the Volunteer Inquiry Form below, or leave a message at 970.641.1173.
